Checks

The first time you come you will be around 10 weeks pregnant. We will look at your general and medical history together and then discuss which care is best for you during your pregnancy. For this, we will use the questionnaire you will be sent in advance. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions and we will inform you in detail about the first steps that are important in your pregnancy.

Prenatal screening

During the first meeting, we will also schedule space for counselling on prenatal screening (screening for congenital anomalies) if required. Prior to this appointment, we will schedule the first ultrasound at obstetric centre Vita.

10 to 12 checks

During your pregnancy, you will come to the practice for check-ups about 10-12 times. At each check-up, we listen to the baby's heartbeat, measure your blood pressure and assess the baby's growth and position. There is always room for questions.

Centering Pregnancy

With centering, check-ups take place in a group with pregnant women who have roughly the same gestational age. We always start individually with the medical check-up, which your partner can then also attend, and in the group we then discuss various topics. In this form of counselling, you are actively involved in your pregnancy and learn from each other. At the intake, we discuss this form of care and you can indicate whether you are interested in it.

Everyone is different and we always try to take that into account. Tailor-made care is an important principle for us.
