Pregnancy checks

Check, check, dubble-check!

During the pregnancy you regularly come to our office for follow-up checks. As the pregnancy progresses you will come more frequently. Even every week at the end of your pregnancy.

Care that suits you

The first time you come you will be around 10 weeks pregnant. We then look together at your general and medical history and then discuss which care is best for you during pregnancy. For this we use the questionnaire that you will receive in advance. There is ample opportunity to ask questions and we will inform you extensively about the first steps that are important in your pregnancy.

Prenatal screening
During the first interview, if desired, room will also be scheduled for counseling about prenatal screening (research into birth defects). Prior to this appointment, we plan the first ultrasound at the obstetric centerĀ Vita (Dutch site).

10 to 12 checks
During pregnancy you come to the practice about ten to twelve times for a check-up. With each check we listen to the baby’s heart, we measure your blood pressure and we assess the growth and location of the baby. There is always room for questions.

Personal care
Everyone is different and we always try to take that into account. Tailor-made care is an important principle for us.
