Giving birth at home or in hospital?

During pregnancy we will discuss with you which is the preferred place to give birth, at home or in the hospital. The choice of delivery location depends on your own preference and situation. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and you can relax as much as possible. Relaxation is very important to ensure that your childbirth runs smoothly. Some women can do this best at home and others feel more comfortable in the hospital.

To the hospital anyway?
At the moment supreme, things can turn out differently than you had previously thought. Sometimes you have to go to the hospital for medical reasons. With a first delivery this happens to almost half of the women giving birth. Or you actually wanted to go to the hospital, but actually find it just as pleasant at home. Anyway, we will guide you through this at home as well as outpatient. It is therefore advisable to be prepared for both options.

Medical indication
Sometimes it is clear in advance that it is better / safer to give birth in the hospital, we call this a medical indication. You give birth under the guidance of the gynecologist.
